Go for Gold High Hopes Challenge #42

Here is this card for this weeks High Hopes Challenge #42, I have been away from the challenges lately due to a very lengthy hospital stay. I am now back home, feeling well and back to making cards.

This weeks challenge is 'Go for Gold: Use gold somewhere on your card.'

Boy! have I used gold. We have gold embossing powder, gold cardstock, gold ribbon and cord and finally little gold balls.

I have watercoloured this gorgeous Elephant using Twinkling H2Os, cut him out and layered my card using Bazzill cardstock and designer paper from Sandylion. The gold card was leftover from years ago.
Here is a close up of the all small details. I just love the shimmer of the Twinkling H2Os

Now a reminder for my Blogger-versary Blog Candy . Read the previous post for all the details.

Until Next Time
Inking of you All
Michelle

This little elephant is a cutie and he looks terrific painted in H2O's. The only trouble with the H2O's is it doesn't photograph well...unless you do what you did with the close up.... and the cards look heaps better IRL.

Cute elephant! I wouldn't have thought to emboss him in gold. He looks fabulous.
